Amanda Ascher


This is Amanda’s third year teaching at VDC and was one of the original company members. She has been competing for the last 5 years and plans to continue throughout High School. Amanda currently trains in the styles of Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary and Acrobatics and is a strong believer that hard work is the key to success.She loves working with young students and hopes to help them grow as young dancers.

Amanda was given the opportunity to be apart of the Joffrey Ballet School Jazz/Contemporary Summer Intensive program in New York City during the summer of 2013 where she was able to work with choreographers from various contemporary companies. She hopes to pursue a career in dance, as dance has made a huge impact on her life. Amanda is a Junior at Woodbridge High School in Irvine. During her free time Amanda participates in the non–profit organization, Dance 2 Your Door, where she performs for the elderly and immobile atSenior Centers. Amanda is extremely blessed to be able to share her love, dedication and passion for dance with her students.
